Sutton, West Virginia is home to The West Virginia Bigfoot Museum. First established in 2021, the museum brings thousands of guests to downtown Sutton every year. The West Virginia Bigfoot Musem hosts the West Virginia Bigfoot Festival every year, located at Holly-Gray Park. The event now draws approximately 20,000 guests!
A Storied and Spooky Past
For decades the area has been home to the legendary Flatwoods Monster, a ten-foot tall creature first seen by locals in 1952 following the crash of what appeared to be a space craft. Following the crash, numerous others claimed to see the creature in the woods. While not seen since 1952, many believe the monster to be lurking in the woods today. Bill Hopen and Ai Qiu are world renown sculptures who work with bronze among other elements. Bill has been working on renovating the old bank building that has been burned out for years.

The Pheonix Artspace is going to be a sculpture park combined with a sculpture workspace where tourists can watch Bill work on his sculptures!
